ETRM Insider is written for people who buy, build, run, and fix energy trading systems. That only works if you can trust what you read. These are the rules I hold myself to.

Independence

ETRM Insider is independent. It has no vendor affiliation, and no vendor, implementer, or consultancy has any say over what gets published. When I write about a product, I write about how it works in practice, good and bad.

No paid reviews, no sponsored rankings

I don't accept payment, free licenses, or other perks in exchange for reviews, rankings, or coverage. There are no sponsored articles. If that ever changes for advertising or newsletter sponsorships, sponsored material will be clearly labeled and kept separate from editorial content, and it will never affect a review.

No confidential information

Nothing here is based on confidential client, employer, or vendor information. Examples are drawn from public sources, general practice, or are anonymized and generalized so no organization can be identified.

How AI is used in writing

ETRM Insider is about AI in energy trading, and I use AI in my own work. Some articles are drafted or researched with AI assistance. Every article is reviewed, edited, and approved by me before it's published, and I'm responsible for every word. Facts and figures are checked against primary sources, which are linked where possible.

Corrections

If I get something wrong, I'll fix it. Corrections are made promptly and noted at the bottom of the article with the date and what changed. To report an error, use the contact page.
